Grassroots Leadership Program (Five distinct two-hour sessions)

The focus of this program is a basic understanding of leadership concepts to develop Highly Capable Individuals and Contributing Team Members (Level 1 and 2 Leaders, respectively). Successful completion includes a take-home examination that leads to a program certificate.

Executive Overview of Grassroots Leadership Program (2.5 hours)

This program is for executive organizational leaders who anticipate or already have Level 1 and 2 leaders participating in the Grass-roots Leadership Program. This program will help senior leaders support and reinforce knowledge gained through the Grass-roots program. Participation includes an introduction to all elements of the Grassroots Program and a complete binder of program materials.

Tactical Leadership Program (Six distinct two-hour sessions)

The focus of this program is building mid-level organizational leaders (Level 3 leaders) who have tactical responsibilities for executing key programs that expand company capabilities and grow business. Successful completion includes a take-home examination that leads to a program certificate.

Executive Overview of Tactical Leadership Program (2.5 hours)

This program is for executive organizational leaders who anticipate or already have Level 3 operational leaders participating in the Tactical Leadership Program. This program will help senior leaders support and reinforce knowledge gained through the Tactical Leadership program. Participation includes an introduction to all elements of the Tactical Leadership Program and a complete binder of program materials.

Strategic Leadership Program (Seven distinct 2.5 hour sessions)

The focus of this program is developing change leadership and critical thinking skills for those leaders who presently serve or aspire to serve as business unit (Level 4) or enterprise (Level 5) leaders. Successful completion includes a take-home examination that leads to a program certificate.

Leading Change Program (Seven distinct 2.5 hour sessions)

This program is designed to prepare individual leaders or groups of leaders for major change initiatives within their organizations. The program provides fundamental knowledge for leading the change process and building a character-based culture. Teams that complete this program are well positioned for the Executive Team Organizational Transformation Program. Successful completion includes a take-home examination that leads to a program certificate. This course prepares leaders whom GuideStar can assist in tailored organizational transformation programs.

Executive Team Organizational Transformation Program (Twelve distinct sessions)

Designed for leaders of organizational change, this program builds on the Leading Change program and guides leaders through the change process to build a highly reliable, character-based organization that achieves performance excellence. Designed for executive teams of different, non-competing organizations, all participants execute Kotter's eight-step model for major change; successful completion of major milestones in company plans leads to a program certificate. This program is the next logical step once the leading change program is completed.

Improving Performance and Increasing Organizational Effectiveness (Four two-hour sessions)

This program provides the foundation and structure for organizational leaders, managers, and supervisors who are responsible for building a high-performing organization based upon a culture of character. The four sessions address (a) Everyone as a leader, (b) Collaborative teamwork, (c) Service alignment, and (d) Performance management.

Building High-Reliability Organizations (Two ¾-day sessions)

This program is designed to help organizational leaders and senior managers identify and prioritize improvement strategies during difficult economic times, determine who to engage internally and externally in achieving priorities, identify knowledge gaps that prevent realization of strategies, and define/describe the behaviors required to achieve solutions. The program assists leaders in defining the foundation for becoming a problem-solving, character-based culture.
